Grind and Cook

My object grinds up food. You put food into the top, spin the handle and the food comes out ground up. You can also put it over a flame or other heat source under it and cook the food. It would be made of martian sand or other kinds of things you can make glass out of so it would cook. It can be used to make apple sauce, mashed potatoes, and more. It is nice because it can be done by some sort of robotic arm if the astronauts are out gathering samples or doing something else at the moment. They will not need to spend so much time on preparing food.
