The Brella Bowl serves as a portable bowl that will allow for astronauts to move through Mars without having to carry so many mealtime items. The Brella Bowl works similar to an umbrella in that the bowl will start off flat with hooks that will maintain it that way. When the bowl is unhooked, it will expand into a pyramid shaped bowl and the handle or shaft of the object will have a square piece that will slide down in order to form the base to prevent leakage. After the base is in place, the top half of the shaft can removed to reveal a spork to aid astronauts in the consumption of food. When the bowl is not in use, one can hang it virtually anywhere since it comes with a hook similar to an umbrella. The flexibility of the bowl will be possible through the use of rubber-like plastic to 3D print the Brella Bowl.
