My design for the Mars Medical Challenge is the “Blood Circulation Assistant”. Using a cup made of Ninjaflex, you can 3D print your very own Blood Circulation Assistant. To use it, you simply have to press the circular lip where, on your body, you would like to increase blood circulation. The flexible material allows you to squeeze the cup creating a vacuum in between the cup and your skin. This type of technology is used by swimmers before a race to enhance their performance and prevent muscles cramps. By doing so it sucks blood to your muscles, which is a common difficulty among astronauts- blood circulation. With this medical tool, it is no longer a problem and astronauts can be free to explore space with ease.
