For the Mars Medical Challenge I made a band that you can check your blood pressure and heart rate. When you put the band on it will get tighter as its calculating your blood pressure and heart rate. When it is done and has its calculations your blood pressure and heart rate will pop up on the screen. In my research I found that your heart rate should be 60-100 and your heart rate should be 120 over 80. The band is black with a screen that read 000 HR and 000/000 BP. It is made of plastic and elastic. The Medical band will be printed with Nylon Plastic. It will also be printed with metal. There is a chip that gets inserted into the band which will print out with it. In my research I found out that when you spend a long time in space the atmosphere will lower your blood pressure. In space your heart rate may increase and decrease at different rates because you are changing the atmosphere you are in. Gravity also has an effect on blood pressure and heart rate changes.
