Space Cast

The function of a cast is to rigidly protect an injured bone or joint. The cast serves to hold the broken bone in proper alignment to prevent it from moving while it heals. The cast that I have created is a cast that can be used for astronauts in space. This cast will help any astronaut who are going on their dangerous mission to Mars. If an astronaut is injured on their mission such as having a broken arm or leg, this cast will help them with that to make a fast recovery so they can continue their journey to Mars. The cast, also known as “Space Cast”, can be 3d printed in plastic and also artificial medals to help give the injury extra protection. The cast will help to support the muscles and any injured limbs to help reduce pain or swelling. This cast has the benefit to help an astronaut continue their mission when they have gotten hurt so they won’t feel any pain walking with this cast.
