This space container was designed to store small rocks and asteroids. To account for zero gravity, I added several features. Inside the container, I added cylindrical-shaped grooves that would restrict the motion of the rock(s), so as to prevent it from falling in case of an accident. The lid was designed for an air-tight fit so that foreign particles do not change the nature of the rock. Also, I have designed the lid in such a way that astronauts will find it easier to insert it and take it out. On the lid, I added a thin circular extension, so that astronauts can open the box easily. Finally, for easy handling of the container, I made the edges smooth and curved.
