The squirrel monkey is a common mammal with a size of 33 cm long with its tail. They eat insects and fruits. They live in large social groups, and have an alarm call which they use if they are in danger or dangerous situations. The squirrel monkey’s predators are: birds of prey, cats, and snakes. Squirrel monkeys live in the rainforest's middle level. In the future people will cut down many trees in the rainforest resulting in a vie in climate. This climate change is less suitable for squirrel monkeys. Less trees will lead to a myriad of death numbers. Therefore they will, throughout decades, adapt to the lower environment. This climate change will lead them to adapt to longer and stronger legs. The temperature would change, resulting in the squirrel monkey having shorter fur. They will begin eating bugs and insects because they live in the lower level.
