Nursebot

My robot, named Nursebot, is modeled on the quokka, an animal that is often considered the happiest animal on Earth. They always look like they're smiling! My robot will have a steel and titanium frame, wrapped in rough but flexible fur. Nursebot will work in nursing homes to boost spirits and ease stress, and will be able to see if someone is happy by using its cameras/eyes. Since Nursebot has hinges on its knees and ankles, it can climb stairs and, with retractable wheels, quickly get to its destination. Nursebot will be pre-programmed to dance to 50 pieces of music, and has hinges on its shoulders and elbows, as well as on its legs to let it achieve 100 different poses and movements. Nursebot will also use its wheels to aid its dancing. Dancing will help Nursebot achieve its goal of cheering up elderly people in nursing homes.
