The Huggernaut

The Huggernaut is a robot designed for those in need of comfort. The robot’s design incorporates a happy face to bring a smile to someone else. If not, its hugs are sure to. That’s the robot's purpose, to hug people to comfort them. It’s made out of a sturdy metal, but its hands and body are cushioned with a soft, pillow-like material. This automated robot uses sensors to locate any sounds it perceives as distressed then uses locomotion to that sound using its small wheels hidden underneath. Once it reaches its destination, it will move its arms around to lightly cradle whoever it comes in contact with to provide the ultimate comfort experience.
