The Joy of Music

My robot plays the violin. This robot is for my great aunt who had down syndrome and Alzheimer's. Every time I saw her I would play violin for her and whenever I did she would smile and laugh. I believe that music has a very lasting effect on people. When my great aunt was younger she would go to see concerts with the orchestra and today would still recognize the songs even when she didn't recognize me. When I played the violin for an old person's home, they loved to listen to me play. It brings back memories and so much joy. Music is an important way for people to connect with the real world and themselves. It’s so powerful and important for everyone. This robot is for the older generation who are disabled and can't go to see concerts. This robot would help them experience music in their home.
