AromaTron

I learned that one of the problems that astronauts have is that they cannot smell their food. The reason that they can not smell their food is because in microgravity, the are always congested. If you cannot smell your food, then you can not enjoy it because you can not really taste it. My solution (AromaTron) has two nose inserts made of a foamy and flexible material (for example 3D printable Layfomm filament) that can be saturated with smell extracts. These inserts are connected by a flexible tube for ease of handling in microgravity. The tube has breathing holes. Each meal will come with an extract of the smell of the dish. The extract will be rubbed into the nose inserts to saturate them. The AromaTron can be made with an on board 3D printer.
