The Food Multi-Tool

My design is made to be printed on our Moon but can be used on any planet, moon, or spacecraft and is printed out of plastic. My design benefits being 3-D printed because it can be melted down and reused again to reduce trash. It combines a fork, a soon, and knife in to one utensil with the edition of a long prong to open freeze dry packages and a slot so it can be neatly stored on a peg attached to a base’s wall. The combination of these items reduces the space need to store them and also lowers the weight of the items by using only one handle and one item instead of 3. It also provides a usable alternative to scissors to lower the objects weight so you can take other items on board. It also allows astronauts to have a free hand to hold the freeze dry package in low gravity because they only have to hold 1 utensil.
