Food Robot Base

The Food Robot Base creates and deploys food-service robots for a large lunar or Mars colony, or an orbiting facility. Power is provided by the (blue) high-output solar array that extends to the right. Various sections contain 3D printers and raw materials (mostly metal powders derived from lunar or Martian regolith). Very high complexity electronics are fabricated elsewhere and installed in a holding bay within the fabricator. Robots constructed are of several types, capable of specialized food production (from farming to cooking), food service, and housekeeping.
