Floating Graves The normal climate for Louisiana is summers are long, and ; winters are short and cold, but is wet year round. Flooding could affect wildlife and human lives. Most of Louisiana is at sea level so the chances of flooding are higher. Rivers and swamps run all through Louisiana which increase flooding. Being able to prevent flooding would be hard so the easiest way to help keep humans and houses safe is to raise the houses. People could modify channels and make them stronger and taller to be able to support the high and fast moving waters. Levee, canal, and spillway construction could decrease the flooding in Louisiana tremendously.
