torms are almost always a problem in every part of the world, unlike other natural disasters, storms happen very frequently. Storms can cause a lot of flooding and thunderstorms can be very dangerous for people in open areas. In my community, storms happen quite often and sometimes cause flooding. Basements, roads, and yards will be affected by this heavy rain. Some solutions to this problem could be more storm drains on our roads or possibly newly implemented basement storm drains. Flooding in people’s basement is the biggest problem as it could cause an electricity hazard and is really hard to clean up. A solution to this would be to add storm drains to all residences in my community, this wouldn’t be very hard since there are already a lot of water waste pipes in most people’s basements.
