The danger and threats of global warming are real, whether or not people accept and acknowledge them. The biggest danger facing any community is action not being taken. My plan is to spread awareness of global warming and promote easy steps that people can take in their everyday lives. Starting small with something such as ensuring one is putting the correct types of recycling in their recycling bin is a minuscule task that makes a big difference. Composting is another easy way to decrease the amount of waste per household. Promoting the various simple and fast ways people can save our planet will make a big impact in the long run. Displaying posters around schools, in libraries, at popular food places, and more around the community can help people recognize the importance of acting now. Bringing knowledge to those who are unknowledgeable will be the biggest help and will give us the potential for a future.
