Virginia’s climate is filled with hazards and risks throughout the state, but one of the most vulnerable risks is extreme heat. Over the years, the intense heat days of Virginia have been multiplying and will continue to if we don't put a stop to it soon. A way to decrease the warmth from rising is planting more trees and vegetation in more populated areas. By planting greenery around the state, it allows the temperature to lower including air and surface temperatures. I know planting too many trees can cause them to die if there are too many in the same area, but if we evenly distribute the number of trees to planting areas they will hopefully all live.
