One of the most dangerous hazards around here is our buildings and structures. I say this because we have a lot of old buildings that the climate could quickly destroy from the bad storms that roll by. We can quickly fix this if we just rebuild our structures. I know that it may cost a lot of money, but if you think about it, it makes sense. When we have a storm and the wind catches someone's roof because the roof was old and torn, it would cost more, because the roof is literally getting ripped off the house. So we would have to assume that there might be other parts of the house, that are newer, that get ripped up with it. This would make you have to spend more money than you would if you fixed it earlier. Another example is if you had a crack in your floorboard between the floor and wall, you would want to fill the crack before it floods one day and you now have water in your house. Therefore, we should try to fix things now while we can before something horrible happens to it to make it worse.
