My proposed action is planting rain gardens. This will help withstand climate-related events because rainfall is anticipated to increase due to global warming and rain gardens will help prevent flooding due to the heavier rain. The plants could also help provide food or shelter for animals that will be affected by developing land for humans in the future and reduce chemicals being washed into the water and harming people or animals that need that water to survive.
