The Capybara is the largest living rodent that lives in the rainforest. These animals are semi aquatic and can swim, but they also have claws on their toes and have long hair. They are herbivores, eat grass, and are reported to have sharp teeth. Apparently Capybaras can be friendly to some other animals. In the future, when rainforests will die out, I imagine that they will live in a marsh. I say this because marshes have grass AND water which would be suitable for the capybara species. I think the capybara would be just a couple centimeters bigger in the future and reproduce more than their current reproduction(1 litter of young per year), because they would need more to survive the future.
