Toucan Tribulation

The animal I chose to study was the toucan. I have always been fascinated and interested in these creatures. Toucans are endangered. They have a life span of about 20 years and cannot afford any negative effects. To portray the present toucan I drew a sunny rainforest with vegetation and several species. The toucan lays peacefully on its tree with its strong durable beak. In the future due to climate change, the forest is filled with fire. The skies are gray and lightning strikes. The toucan is left on the ground with no tree and is forced to adapt. I believe the toucan will adapt by growing a long skinny beak to get insects buried underground. The toucan will build up strong lungs so it is not harmed by the smoke. Lastly, the feet will become strong so they can withstand the ground.
