The animal I chose to draw is the three-toed sloth. Sloths aren't able to regulate their body's temperature. Therefore if it becomes too cold, they could get hypothermia, and if it becomes too hot, they could overheat. Regarding this information, if the climate in the future becomes dry and hot due to global warming, the three-toed sloth would have to find a way to stay cooled down. Once their environment changes, they could use holes in the ground that they dig to avoid the heat. The sloth would have less fur to prevent overheating even further and shorter arms since they wouldn't be climbing trees as often to get leaves to eat.
