Advanced Wrench Unit

The Advanced Wrench Unit is designed to maximize an astronauts ability to tighten and loosen bolts in a short amount of time. Unlike normal wrenches, the unit is operated like a crank, allowing the astronaut to tighten bolts with improved friction, and deploy or retract other objects such as solar panels, payload bay doors, or any other object that uses gears. The bit can be snapped into place using the included adapter piece to allow any size bolt to be turned. The tip is also magnetic to prevent the tool from floating away from the attached bolt during an EVA. The tool is designed to make the process being completed as non strenuous as possible, giving astronauts more energy during EVA's.
