T.G.I.S.

The Grower In Space is made up of two parts. The first part (the main part) is where the plant grows. It also holds up the bar where the plastic bag hangs with the wet paper towel and the seed inside it. The plant grows using hydroponics which requires very little space. Its dimensions are 10 inches by 3 inches by 3 inches. The second part is the cap that holds the battery that powers the grow light. The container is design with slip fit dimensions so it can stay together on the spaceship. Velcro attaches the T.G.I.S. to the spaceship. It is important to have the T.G.I.S. on in the spaceship because it will help bring plants to space and the astronauts could grow their own food.
