The portable space canteen come in three parts: the shell, the mouth and back peice, and the cap. You screw the shell over the mouth and back peice using the slip method. This allows you to spin the shell, thus creating a centripetal force. The centripetal force creates the "water shape," we perceive on earth. Then, the astronaut can drink the water with the mouthpeice. The cap is used when the astronaut is not uses the canteen. This container let's astronauts store and drink water or other liquids.
