Juicy Machine

This contraption serves as a way to add the ingredients of a juice so that it is ready to be mixed. The two simple machines that were incorporated are an inclined plane and a pulley. The inclined plane allows the weighted marble to slide down and detach the weights from the domino so that the spoon can be released by the pulley, since one side loses significant weight, and lands in the cup. The pulley is the one that drops the spoon into the cup. With the help of two lines of dominos and cardboard tubes, the two marbles reach their designated portions and accomplish different functions. The first marbles’ weight exercises force the paper funnel so it drops the juice powder, and the second one makes the pulley lose weight on one side so the spoon reaches the cup. In this process, a domino is dropped into the cup.
