The design of my Veterans appreciation is based off of the medal, which is commonly worn in formal/ dress outfits. The design of the award being base on a medal is to make the veterans feel more appreciated. Veterans sacrificed and fought to protect the peace, and I used many symbols to show this on my medal, with thee laurel, dove, 13 stars to represent the first 13 colonies, and more.
