The badge features a thankful messages towards all that have served in the military. The badge then features the Star-Spangled American Flag that references the battle of Fort McHenry and the Anthem of the US, along with 35 other additional stars upon the sky to represent all 50 states. The yellow star at the top represents the Northern Star, a symbol of liberty especially to those enslaved who used the star to guide them to freedom.
