The Sacrifices of a Soldier

Veterans should be honored because of the sacrifices they make for us, for our country. Many miss their families growing up, their kids first achievements, these are not memories they can get back. This is why veterans should be honored. The eagle represents the strength, courage, freedom and immortality of these brave soldiers. I chose the eagle so the soldiers have a symbol for being so brave. The colors on the American flag represent, Blue: loyalty, vigilance, perseverance, and truth, Red: denotes courage, zeal, and fortitude. And white represents: the deeds of worthy remembrance. I chose these colors because the American flag shows the country that they fought for.
