Veterans should be honored because with out them we wouldn't be safe. Another reason they should be honored is because they risked their lives for us. I use blue for is symbolic of loyalty, vigilance, perseverance, and truth. Red represents courage, zeal, and fortitude. I used the stars to show all the fifty states that they serve and protect for. Those are all the things that inspired me to make this pin for not just one branch in the military but for all the branches in the military that all put their lives to risk just to save this country we live in.
