We need to recognize veterans way more. People do not know what it is like to serve your country. They have had to see so many brutal things and places. I think veterans day should be a holiday because without them we would not be free like today. The red in the pin stands for bravery. They have to have bravery because when they go to war it is one of the scariest things on earth. The blue stands for vigilance, perseverance, and justice. They never give up on us so we should not give up on them and it should be a holiday. My uncle served in the military and he told me how hard it is and all the bad stuff he had to see. I hope that I will serve someday. All in all I think veterans do a great thing for our country. Thank you vets!
