poppy pin

My pin has red and black poppy flowers to honor our brave military that are risking their lives or have lost theirs for ours. The black in the middle of the red flower symbolizes power and knowledge. The red color of the flower reminds us of all the men and women that have been deployed and shows that we are thinking of them. The green background is meant to be a field that we can run freely in while knowing that lives have been lost just for that privilege. The white cross represents the sacrifices they made not just for the attention and the praise but to protect the privileges we take advantage of each day.
