Veterans Day Pin

Veterans should be honored because they sacrificed so many things to keep us and our country safe. Veterans had to give up their families, friends, homes, pets, and many more. I chose a flag as the center of my pin because it represents America and our freedom. We wouldn’t have freedom if it wasn’t for the veterans that fought for us. I used red, white, and blue on my flag because these colors represent loyalty, courage, and good deeds. These colors show the personal willpower that it took for these veterans to fight for our country. I chose gold for the outer ring of my pin because this color represents achievement, dignity, and honor. This color represents the mental strength and bravery that veterans personified in protecting our country. For these reasons, I chose red, white, blue, and gold as my colors for my Veterans Day pin.
