Stars and Stripes

The American Flag is not just a piece of fabric, it symbolizes the fabric of our society as a nation. My pin is created for veterans to wear on Veterans Day is called, ‘Stars and Stripes’ because it explains the American Flag. I believe it’s important to understand Veterans Day because veterans sacrificed so much so that we could be where we are today. My pin has many symbols including stars, stripes, airplanes, some text and a heart. I used stars and stripes to represent the American Flag. I used airplanes to represent the US Air Force. My pin says, “Thank You” to show my support. The shape of the pin is a heart to symbolize love, appreciation, gratitude and joy. Its colored red, white and blue to represent the American Flag colors. My pin is reflective of all the hard work our veterans have put into this amazing country!
