Honoring Our Veterans

My pin has a poppy, an American flag, and a star. The poppy is to represent the poppy field and the veterans who have fought and continue to fight in the military. Americans usually don’t wear poppies on Veterans day, but instead, they wear the poppy on memorial day. The American flag represents our military and the men and women defending our country. I added 13 red and white stripes and 50 stars. The star is to represent the Star Act, which helps disabled veterans that were injured in war.
