My Thank You to Veterans

I made the American flag. It has red and white stripes. Up in the top left corner there is a square with stars in it. There are red and blue ovals with text in them. The last thing is a medal. It has a green ribbon with a star. I chose the American flag because it represents all the 50 states. The American flag is the patriotic symbol of freedom. The American flag makes you remember all the great soldiers who fought and died for our freedoms. The red and blue represent our nation’s colors. The red represents valor and bravery. The blue represents vigilance, perseverance, and justice. The white represents purity and innocence. The text in the blue oval represents the thanks that all veterans should receive. The red text has the final verse of the Star Spangled Banner to represent freedom. The medal represents the award Veterans deserve.
