Honoring Our Veterans

I find my Veteran’s Day Pin very inspirational and creative because of the quote. “When duty calls, that is when character counts.” When I heard this quote, I knew it needed to be heard by people of America. My pin represents the character needed for the job; bravery, honesty, kindness. My pin is red, white, and blue with the star cut-outs representing the stars on the American flag. I wrote 11/11 to represent the date World War 1 ended. The eleventh hour of the eleventh day of the eleventh month. My quote really gets you thinking when you read it. You think of what the men and women that fight for our country have to do. The character it takes to do what they do is unmatched. We sometimes take our freedom for granted and we need to remember what they sacrifice everyday for us. Thank all brave Veterans.
