about my pin

My pin symbolizes all the family members who lost a family member in the military. The butterfly in the middle of the pin, with a white background, represents the military member who died on the job. The reef wrapped around the gold lining symbolizes the peace that the military members will have after passing on tho whatever afterlife they believe in. The black background behind the butterfly represents grief, the grief that their family will experience after getting the message that their beloved family member is no longer with them.
