Veterans day pin

My veterans day pin is called “Rejoice”. My pin is a star being held by an olive branch, the branch is a symbol of peace. Surrounding the inner ring of the pin there is a quote by Lucius Annaeus Seneca. “brave men rejoice in adversity, just as brave soldiers triumph in war.” This quote stood out to me because it shows the two sides of one coin, showing the difference between two people. In the middle of the star a silhouette of a soldier shows the people this pin is about, the star is gold while the words are red, the rings are silver and the olive branch is gold as well. Now there is no reason behind these colors, they just match the theme.
