Service and Sacrifice

My Veterans Pin Design is a symbol for all veterans and what they have done for us. Planet earth is in the center of my pin, showing that we are united and protected no matter what. It’s then surrounded by a laurel wreath, engulfing the world in honor and victory. A yellow band is then seen as the border, symbolizing the hope and happiness veterans have given us. Underneath are two dog tags, showing a life of service and sacrifice. The dog tags then share the quote, “scared is what you’re feeling. Brave is what you’re doing” by Emma Donoghue.
