Veterans' Pride, Flag's Glory

For my 150 word description, I'm going to describe why my pin looks the way it is. So first of all, I wanted to show how veterans are not forgotten, and their stories live on. I chose the song "Ragged old flag" as an inspiration. In that song, it describes how a old, ragged flag had a great story, and how the old flag had meaning. Like our veterans, that flag had been through a lot. The song "Ragged old flag" said that their flag had been through some of the same troubles as veterans back in the day. Whether it Washington crossing the Delaware, by the alamo, or even almost covered in blood at world war II, . My pin shows that things are sometimes not as they seem, veterans still contain the pride of the country.
