The American Dream

In the near 250 years since the United States established itself as an independent nation, it has revolutionized the way the world thinks. This pin is a tribute to the American dream. It is a gray pin, with an eagle at the center, symbolizing the importance of the sacrifice that the military makes every day, and what the army fights for every day. The background is an American flag, which is a tribute to the influence of the United States on the modern world. And finally, there are words in American colors that thank veterans for their service. I first got the inspiration for this pin after looking at a video explaining the Honor Flight program. This inspired the eagle, symbolizing flight and freedom. I also added the American flag to show American pride. Both the eagle and the American flag represent the honor of being an U.S. veteran.
