Remembrance and Appreciation

Veterans deserve honor. They deserve respect, admiration, and so much more. In my pin, I hope to convey some of that respect and honor that they are deserving of, and I wish to pay homage to these amazing people with my pin. The pin has a poppy in the middle, to represent those who lost their lives in service. The poppy has five petals, each with ten red, white, or blue stars, which represent the colors of the American flag. Surrounding the poppy are the words ‘Thank You Veterans’, which show appreciation for these phenomenal people who have served our country.
