Holding Heart of Our Country

For every veteran to feel appreciated, I included each branch of the military onto my pin design. I labeled each branch on the bottom of the pin in white to make them stand out, but to also show remembrance. At the top I said, “Thank you vets” so it clearly shows they are valued. To symbolize how important they are to our country, I made hands holding the American flag to protect our country. The flag is designed in the shape of a heart to show gratitude and to represent that through serving they were kind to our country. Lastly, I put stars at the top of the pin design because they are on our flag and they represent hope for the future, but I also made them yellow to show dignity and achievement. When all of these things are incorporated, they honor veterans.
