The pin has the liberty bell which has become a symbol of freedom, ever since, in the early 1800’s, people who wanted to outlaw slavery called it the Liberty Bell and used it as a symbol for their cause. The star is white and represents the 50 states as well as purity. The leaves are red to represent valor and bravery. And the background is blue to represent justice and perseverance. The colors represent the American flag. And the symbols represent the American flag as well as other symbols for America.
