My model is an American flag with an Eagle at the center of the design, with the numbers 6, 14, and 1775 on the outside. These numbers represent June 14th, 1775, which is the day the US military was founded. Each number represents a different military branch. The 6 is made out of planes, representing the air force. The 14 is made out of Tanks, representing the army. Finally, the 1775 is made out of boats and anchors, representing the Navy. I added the Eagle in the middle of the flag to create a feeling of strength, freedom, and pride. Additionally, I chose this design because it illustrates how the military fights for our freedom. I decided to use the American flag as the backdrop because it displays what country the veteran fought for. Overall, the pin represents the military, the US, and the history of the military.
