Veterans Day Pin

I chose this design because I wanted to make a statement. So many people don't understand the sacrifices that have been made for our freedom so I wanted this pin to be a reminder. I chose a gold outer rim because gold signifies achievement and triumph, a white background to represent the perfection and purity of the military, and a red poppy flower which is a symbol of the fallen men and women who served in the military. Finally, I chose the words, "Freedom is Never Free" to remind us all of the true cost of freedom.
