Heroic Warriors

This is my Veteran's Appreciation Challenge pin. The pin features a helmet which universally represents the military. I chose a spartan helmet as it seems the most grand of any helmets. The laurel around the helmet represents victory, honor, and achievements. It is green, which represents life. Additionally, the laurel is a symbol from Greece, where democracy was invented. This relates nicely to the current government of the USA. The ring around the entire helmet and laurel contains stars, like of the American Flag. Above and below the pin reads "USA Army". The blue shade on the "ring" surrounding the helmet and laurel contrasts nicely with the yellow colors around the pin. The blue is also a shade of the American flag, further adding relation to USA veterans. believe that this pin gives a more "heroic" feeling to those who are veterans, who are often underrepresented in our society.
