Flags and Flowers

Red: resilience, bravery. White: purity, integrity. Blue: perseverance, fairness. These are the values that represent us. They are so crucial in displaying our values that they make up our official flag. Our country would not be nearly where it is today without our brave, hardworking veterans. This pin displays our gratitude for these people. I used the American flag in this design, highlighting the base of our nation’s morals. I placed the flag above the base, elevated from the rest of the design. I also placed poppies throughout the design, which symbolise the blood shed by those who have fought for our country. Finally, I included the message, “Thank you, veterans!” around the design, with braille translations right next to them. Veterans are courageous heroes that have sacrificed so much for our country. We honor them in many ways, but nothing can compare to what these people have experienced.
