Honoring the Flag

Perseverance, Honor, and Courage are just some of the words that come to mind when thinking of Veterans. Veterans are so strong and amazing for what they do. The United States would never be the same without them. Everyday I think about how much they sacrificed for our country. I learned that red means honoring all deployed. This color means so much to them and is a beautiful color. This being on the American Flag is so meaningful, and no one realizes it. They are the reason we are here today. For my pin I chose an American Flag to represent all they have done for our country. For my saying I said, “Thank you, Vets.” This shows that we appreciate them and honor them.
